A blog, this changelog and a tidier History page
- New blog and this changelog, so you can see what we build and why. Start with Hello, world.
- The History page lines up again: each day’s results sit inside their card with the same spacing as your saved setups.
- The privacy page has a new “Our apps” section: the apps work offline and collect nothing.
Version 2: 45 new calculators
- A real scientific calculator with its own row of function keys, plus statistics, matrix, binary, factor and ratio calculators.
- Money: salary, loan payment, student loan, HELOC, Roth IRA and lottery payout.
- Science and everyday tools: velocity, half-life, a dice roller and a love calculator (just for fun).
- Calculators for one country, in that country’s language: the Italian codice fiscale with every comune, a German IBAN-Rechner, and VAT for Italy, Germany, Japan and Thailand.
- Exact answer pages for the conversions people search most, such as 100 hp to kW, each with the live converter underneath.
- All new calculators are translated into the other 15 languages, and numbers inside text results now use your language’s decimal and thousands marks.
Get Keen Calculator for iPhone and Mac
- The calculators are also an app for iPhone and Mac. It runs the same engine as this site, works offline and collects no data. The App Store links are in the footer of every page.
- On iPhone, Safari shows a small banner to open or get the app.
KeenCalculator launches
- Over 400 free calculators in 14 categories, from percentages and mortgages to BMI and concrete. Browse them all on the A–Z list.
- Every calculator remembers your last inputs, lets you save named setups and keeps a history of results, all stored in your browser only.
- Available in 16 languages from day one: English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, French, German, Italian, Korean, Indonesian, Dutch, Turkish, Thai and Japanese.
- Built to be fast: static pages, no web fonts, no ads, and no layout shift while a page loads or when you click.
